New KiDS Director Appointed for Panto 2014

Following four years of successful shows, KiDS Panto Director Barbara Magrath is returning to the stage for the 2014 Panto. At the KiDS’ AGM on March 15, 2013 a new Director was appointed in the form of Raffaela Farahabadi.

Following her election, Raffaela said that she realises what a tough act Barbara will be to follow and paid tribute to Barbara’s amazing creativity, dedication and hard work.

Raffaela’s first job will be to select a script and put together a Production Team, ready for Auditions in the Summer. Rehearsals will start in September.

At the AGM it was also agreed to donate £3,000 to Killigrew School, making a total donated since 2007 of £14,200!!

KiDS Announce Panto 2012: Aladdin

It may be mid-Summer but plans are already afoot for KiDS Panto 2012, which will be

Aladdin

“Pre Production” preparations have already started and having chosen her script, Director Barbara Magrath is busy putting together her Production Team in order to bring her adoring public another Panto Extravanganza to match her sell out (well almost) triumphs of previous years: Little Miss Moffat and Cinderella.

Aladdin will be brought to you by an experienced team who will work extremely hard for nearly six months to ensure that this glittering show will live up to the amazing standards set in previous productions. No expense has been spared to ensure they can afford to make the journey from Stanley Avenue and the far flung reaches of St Albans.

Auditions are about to take place (see this link for details) and watch this space for updates as this show is cobbled – oops we mean professionally – put together.
